Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s proposed move to Manchester United could be delayed by the player’s desire to
represent Sweden at the Rio Olympics, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker, who currently with his nation at Euro 2016, has been toying with the world’s media as they wait for confirmation of his next move.

With a switch to Old Trafford reportedly close to completion, Ibrahimovic is expected to clarify his future following his involvement at the European Championships.

However, the 34-year-old’s desire to add an Olympic gold medal to his list of career honours could put these plans on hold, with the striker in line to be named on of Sweden's three senior players in the U23 tournament.
