He's been busy in the transfer market already and it seems Jose Mourinho's shopping spree doesn't just extend to there.



The newly-appointed Manchester United boss took to Instagram on Friday morning to update his latest purchase.

Mourinho was pictured in the club's Old Trafford megastore sampling some of the products that were on offer.


Accompanied with the caption: 'All set for the new season @adidasfootball,' Mourinho can be seen holding the silver adidas Ace 16.3 boot.

It's been a busy week for Mourinho who made his first signing in the Red Devils hotseat before tieing down a club veteran to a new deal.

On Wednesday, United completed the £30million signing of Villarreal defender Eric Bailly on a four-year contract.

The 22-year-old Ivory Coast defender also has the option of a further two-year extension, with Mourinho confident in his abilities.
'Eric is a young central defender with great natural talent,' he told the club's official website.
'He has progressed well to date and has the potential to become one of the best around.
'We look forward to working with him to help nurture that raw talent and fulfil his potential.
'Eric is at the right club to continue his development.'

Michael Carrick

There was further good news too, as Michael Carrick penned a one-year contract extension.
The 34-year-old, who joined United from Tottenham in 2006, has agreed terms to extend his contract to June 2017, entering himself into an 11th year at Old Trafford.

During his time at the club, he has won five Premier League titles, an FA Cup, one League Cup, a FIFA Club World Cup, and a UEFA Champions League.

'This great club has been a part of my life for the past 10 years, so I am delighted that this incredible journey is continuing,' Carrick told the club's official website.
