Filmaker, director, actress Uche Jombo Rodrigeuz posted on her twitter account that she will be hosting the 2016 African Film Festival slated to hold between July 1 - July 3 in Dallas Texas.
Films from over 15 African countries will be showcased. Event attendees will be coming from all over the world to experience the best of African films while participants exhibits their creativity in terms of film production.

The African Film Festival (TAFF), a non-profit organisation created to give back to the African Independent film community is listed with the Texas Film Commission, the Dallas Film Commission, and the City of Dallas Arts District.
The festival would look at films in several categories such as Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary Feature, Best Narrative Short, Best Documentary Short, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. Other categories are Best Emerging Filmmaker, Best Cinematography, Best Original Soundtrack, People’s Choice: Best Poster and People’s Choice: Best Trailer.
